When can we expect mortgage rates to drop?

Everyone wonders if they should wait for rates to drop ⬇️

Here’s some context:

In the 1980s, people bought homes with 12% mortgage rates.

In 2020, rates dropped to around 3%. Today we’re around the mid-6% range.

And yes, homes were a fraction of the price in the ’80s as they are now. But, here’s the real question:

Are you waiting for rates to drop… or are you waiting and hoping prices don’t keep rising?
